Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer and director who is best recognized as the main character in Birdman. Michael Keaton is an actor with an array of skills. He has also portrayed a few romantic characters and appeared in several action thrillers during his professional career. While a teen and began his journey into performing and acting. When he was a young adult the actor tried doing stand-up comedy. His comedy career wasn't a success, however it paved the way for the path to a career in acting. To be successful in the field of comedy, he got a job working as a cameraman for the local cable TV station. He realized his real interest was working in front of cameras while working for the cable channel. Then he landed a TV role, appearing on several episodes of Mister Rogers Neighborhood. He was naturally gifted and gained a lot of attention on television. He had great goals, and began a career in film and gained fame for his roles in comedy. His career was further enhanced when he portrayed Batman in Tim Burton's Batman. He developed as an actor in the years to come and then ventured into the direction and production worlds. In 2014, his performance in Birdman earned him several nominations and accolades.
